Job summary

L’Oréal in Florence, KY is seeking a Packaging Operator I to operate packaging equipment, ensuring safe, efficient production. You will oversee line performance, train temporaries, and maintain GMP compliance while supporting quality and environmental initiatives.

The role requires standing for long periods, overtime as needed, and English proficiency. Shift is Sunday/Thursday, 10:30 pm–6:40 am with a $22.50 per hour differential.

Qualifications

• Overtime as needed; voluntary/mandated.
• Prolonged standing during packaging line.
• Speak and understand English.
• Authorized to work in the United States without immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging lines and manage multiple modules (fillers, cappers, cartoners, case packers).
• Document direct labor hours, production reporting and efficiency.
• Train temporary staff in Safety and Quality.
• Follow GMP and safety rules and departmental procedures.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments and line washouts as needed.
