Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in New York seeks a dedicated individual to operate and maintain downstream equipment. Responsibilities include following safety procedures, cleaning equipment, and maintaining records. The position requires standing for long hours in hot environments and safely handling chemicals. Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Work in a hot warehouse environment.
• Safely handle chemicals with appropriate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain downstream equipment according to the OS book.
• Follow startup and shutdown procedures.
• Perform intermediate and final cleaning of all downstream equipment.
• Keep accurate records, including the downtime log and turn procedures.
• Ensure equipment is stocked with necessary materials.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
• Ensure quality packages are placed into trays.
• Communicate production issues to Supervisors/Leads.

High School Diploma or equivalent
