Job summary

Fortress Nutrition, LLC is hiring Packaging Line Operators for our Dry Powder Operations team. The role focuses on operating packaging equipment, performing real-time quality checks, and collaborating with production to meet customer specifications.

The 1st shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with potential overtime and weekend work based on production needs. This is hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing experience ideal for someone who values accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in food manufacturing with GMPs and sanitation.
• Ability to perform basic shop math.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in environments with allergens, dry powder, dust.
• Overtime and weekend availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain packaging equipment and related machinery.
• Make equipment adjustments to meet specifications.
• Perform real-time quality checks (bag visuals, seal integrity, weight, coding).
• Complete MMRs and production records with Good Documentation Practices.
• Monitor equipment and product flow to identify faults or slowdowns.
• Address issues promptly with supervision for resolution.
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support overtime or weekend work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
