Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Production Operator for a 12-month assignment at Wilmington, IL 60481. The role is onsite with a Wednesday to Friday 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM schedule, plus Tuesday shifts every four weeks, and a pay rate of $20.81/hr.

The successful candidate will set up the packaging line, inspect cans, follow safety rules, and maintain quality standards. Ability to lift 50 pounds and read English with basic math is required. This is a temporary, hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Complete site EH&S and Operations training.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand up to 10-12 hours.
• Read English and perform basic math functions.
• Follow all safety guidelines and SOPs.
• Pass pre-employment Fitness for Duty assessment.
• Able to use Dupont approved cutting tools.
• Meet all job requirements for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and help eliminate hazards in the workplace.
• Comply with site rules and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Set up packaging line per production spec sheet.
• Inspect cans and packages against quality specs.
• Assemble bases, trays and other packaging as required.
• Record production data per counting procedure.
• Return out-of-spec cans to production line.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Report injuries or safety incidents immediately.
