Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a Line Mechanic C to maintain and repair packaging equipment on production lines in our facility. You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and improve throughput.

The role requires hands-on PLC, hydraulics, and sensor knowledge, strong attention to safety, and the ability to train Operators and Line Technicians. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required, plus relevant vocational/technical school certifications.
• At least 2 years technical degree and/or experience as a packaging line mechanic in a food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to change over, maintain, and repair packaging machinery and related equipment in the required timeframe.
• Train and develop Operators, Line Technicians, and Line Leaders on operating packaging equipment.
• Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Determine the root cause of equipment failure and implement corrective actions.
• Adhere to GMPs, JSA, SOPs and safety procedures.
