Job summary

Church & Dwight is seeking a Line Mechanic C in Concord, NH to maintain and repair packaging systems on production lines. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime while maintaining safety and GMP compliance.

You will train operators and line staff, execute set-ups and changeovers, document work orders in SAP, and identify root causes to prevent recurrence. A strong hands-on ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required, plus vocational/technical certifications.
• At least 2 years technical degree or packaging line mechanic experience in a food, cosmetic or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
• Strong hand tools and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with FDA and GMP regulations; Six Sigma/Lean/5S a plus.
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine shop skills.

Responsibilities

• Change over, maintain, and repair packaging machinery in timeframes.
• Alert management to mechanical issues that could halt lines.
• Train and develop Operators, Line Technicians, and Line Leaders on packaging equipment.
• Run at least two types of lines without retraining.
