Job summary

Kao USA, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Technician on 3rd shift in Cincinnati. You will operate and maintain packaging line equipment, performing repairs and preventive maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will work with line teams, follow safety regulations, SOPs, and GMP practices, and document shift notes. The role combines hands-on maintenance with production responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of packaging line operation and maintenance experience.
• Electrical and mechanical knowledge; technical training or certification in electrical/mechanical technology.

Responsibilities

• Correctly help with repairs to all packaging equipment as required or directed.
• Work cooperatively with line teams in daily production schedules.
• Complete all Preventative Maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain a Safe and orderly production line area.
• Perform STOP and 5S GMP audits and follow-up as required.
• Complete shift notes and line documentation as trained.
