Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Packaging Line Worker in Ankeny, IA. The role involves hand packing bottles, feeding a taping machine, and lifting up to 20 lbs. This contract position offers on-site work with first and second shifts available.

Employees may transition from contract to permanent based on attendance and production. The environment includes a spices-related facility with safety protocols in place and on-site training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in hand packing and palletizing.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Inventory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hand pack bottles of product with care and precision.
• Push boxes through a taping machine efficiently.
• Lift 20 lbs throughout the shift.
• Dump empty bottles into the hopper at the front of the line.
• Communicate with team via walkie-talkie to request more products when needed.
• Identify pick areas using technology.
• Coordinate with warehouse when line finishes.
• Ensure product quality meets standards.
