Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is assisting a client in Ames, Iowa, to fill a Packaging Associate position in their packaging department. This long-term temporary role offers steady hours and a consistent daytime schedule.

Pay is $18.25 per hour, with work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm. You will perform duties such as picking, packing, scanning, assembling shipping boxes, sealing and palletizing packages, while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift and lift up to 15-20 pounds.
• Able to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties such as picking, packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
• Assemble shipping boxes and place them on the packaging line.
• Select appropriate counts of each product and place into a box.
• Seal, palletize and stage packages.
