Job summary

Wyld is seeking a Packaging Lead in Arizona (Tucson) to supervise the packaging team, ensure accurate QC, and support daily workflow. The role requires leadership of Packaging Support staff, shift opening/closing, and coaching under Supervisors and Managers.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean, safe packaging areas, achieving quotas, and ensuring safety and sanitation compliance. Strong English communication and urgency in fast-paced production are essential for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of directly related experience in a food production or manufacturing environment and 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with food manufacturing, sanitation and safety regulations.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a high‑pressure environment.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite; Slack; Jira or similar management tools.
• English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work area and ensure proper packaging flow.
• Perform basic visual quality inspections and QA/QC of products.
• Train and coach Packaging Support staff with Supervisors/Managers.
• Open and close shifts and support a flexible schedule.
• Communicate discrepancies in quantities or quality; address safety issues.
