Job summary

Lancesoft is hiring a Packaging Lab Technician for a 12+ month assignment in Trumbull, CT. Pay rate: $25-$30/hour on W2, with the 1st shift schedule.

You will participate and lead testing of packaging components, coordinate with Package Engineers and cross-functional teams, assist in design and development of packaging components, and create and maintain testing plans. Some lifting up to 35 lbs is required; a technical degree or 0–3 years’ lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Science or equivalent technical field.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and in small teams; self-starting attitude.
• Willingness to perform manual handling and move materials up to 35 lbs.
• Experience with packaging testing or lab environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing of package components and materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Package Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist in design and development of packaging components.
• Create and maintain package testing plans.
• Gather data for sustainability metrics and product benchmarking.
• Prepare typed reports and manage testing / reports workflow.
