Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Covington, GA, is seeking a Packaging Lab Technician to provide technical support for the Corporate Packaging Design & Development Laboratory. The role involves testing packaging materials and systems for medical devices, maintaining equipment, and ensuring SOP compliance.

The position is a 12-month contract, 40-hour weeks, 1st shift, with a pay range of $16–$20 per hour. A science/engineering degree and experience in quality engineering or packaging testing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Science/Engineering; packaging engineering preferred.
• Experience in packaging testing for medical devices or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
• ISTA CPLP certification is a plus.
• Background in quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate medical device packaging materials, components and systems.
• Complete testing and inspection forms with accuracy.
• Prepare and proofread lab reports with minimal errors.
• Support packaging projects through laboratory testing resources.
• Follow SOPs and procedures.
• Maintain testing schedules and performance metrics.
• Coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
