Job summary

Solvita is seeking a Packaging and Inventory Technician in Dayton, OH. The role involves loading tissue grafts into freeze dryers/freezers, packaging and labeling finished grafts, and managing inventory. Starting pay is $18 per hour with a first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday–Friday.

Job description

Packaging and Inventory Technician, also known as Lot Processing Technician help by working with the finished tissue grafts. They help load them into freeze dryers or freezers. They also package and label the finished grafts and put them into inventory. They play a pivotal role towards the success of our mission; to save and enhance lives.

Shift Hours

First shift position working Monday - Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

Starting Pay

Starting pay is $18 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Load and unload tissue grafts from the freeze dryer.
• Maintain freezer inventory to ensure ease of access to all grafts.
• Use inventory tracking and scan checking software to ensure traceability and proper identification.
• Print labels and package and label tissue grafts ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Inspect grafts for quality, packaging integrity, and accuracy of documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of anatomy, processing methods, and sterile technique preferred.
