Job summary

ASR Group® is seeking a Packaging Development Engineer to lead packaging innovation from concept through commercialization using a structured stage-gate process. You will collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and Commercial teams to improve performance, reduce cost, and ensure food safety.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field, 3–5+ years in packaging development, and experience with SAP, CAPE, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
• 3–5+ years in packaging development, CP G or F&B preferred.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and global supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple packaging projects from concept through commercialization using stage-gate.
• Design and execute packaging qualification plans and plant trials.
• Identify opportunities in sustainability, cost reduction and material optimization.
• Develop and maintain packaging specs and SAP master data.
• Collaborate with suppliers to meet quality, cost and performance targets.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovate packaging solutions.
