Job summary

IAC Group in Arlington, TX is seeking an Industrial / Packaging Engineer to support upcoming program launches and facility readiness ahead of SOP milestones.

You will develop production layouts, optimize material flow, validate WIP and finished goods packaging, and coordinate packaging trials with suppliers and customers.

This contract role requires a Bachelor's in engineering and at least 3 years in industrial or manufacturing engineering, preferably in automotive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Automotive manufacturing experience, Tier 1 supplier preferred.
• Experience with layout planning, line balancing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain plant layouts for new and existing programs.
• Analyze material flow and optimize line-side delivery.
• Lead packaging and WIP/finished goods rack development.
• Coordinate launches readiness reviews and Run-at-Rate activities.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in layouts.
