Job summary

Lamb & Associates Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer to maintain Mac and PC workflows, utilizing Adobe Cloud Suite and Esko Web-Center to prepare artwork for flexo and digital printing.

You will provide design assets to Customer Service, Production and Sales, collaborate on concept layouts, coordinate with vendors, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality packaging graphics. Experience with ArtiosCAD is required, along with color theory and prepress proficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design (with prepress and color theory preferred) or previous experience in a similar role required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years flexographic, lithography and digital prepress experience.
• Minimum 2 years ESKO ArtiosCAD packaging experience.
• Adobe Cloud Suite
• Prepress software proficiency
• PC & MAC experience

Responsibilities

• Prepares artwork for printing on Flexo and Digital press.
• Provides Customer Service with needed items to complete production specifications.
• Works with Production to ensure success of production runs.
• Provides Sales with needed design items, such as mock-up samples and renderings.
• Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style and related aesthetic concepts within CAD and Graphics software.
• Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval to Customer Service, Customers and Sales Group.
• Completes Design projects by coordinating through Web-Center and with outside tooling vendor’s agencies, art services, printers, etc.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing good work ethic and top quality design results, as needed.
