Aspire Bakeries is seeking a General Labor - Packaging team member for our Santa Ana, CA bakery. You will assist the Packaging Lead by ensuring proper packaging of products, maintaining quality, and upholding food safety standards.

The role requires minimal experience, a high school diploma or GED preferred, and a 1st shift with weekend availability. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Elementary-level English literacy required.
• No prior experience required.
• GMP/HACCP certification (in-house) available.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality prior to clamshell/case packaging.
• Ensure proper closure of clamshells before packing into cases.
• Report product anomalies or issues to Lead.
• Remove out-of-spec products from the line.
• Monitor packaging equipment for proper operation and speeds.
• Discard scrap product properly by separating clamshells/trays from finished product.
• Assist with packaging rework as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
