Job summary

Ken's Foods, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer for packaging on 1st shift in our Lebanon, IN facility. You will assist machine operators, load materials, pack finished goods, palletize, label and support clean-up in a fast-paced production line.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work with chemicals. Safety, food safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork are emphasized with weekly pay and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and semi-automatic packaging equipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness.
• Participate in machine and area cleaning in a safe and timely manner.
• Locate and retrieve materials.
• Load packaging materials into machine.
• Pack and handle finished goods.
• Apply labels to finished good pallets.
• Operate manual pallet jack and electric pallet stacker.
• General housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
