Job summary

CHG in Saint Paul, MN is hiring for a packaging operator on 2nd shift (1:00pm-9:30pm). This union position involves setup, operation, sanitation, and shipping duties across packaging lines. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; ability to do basic math and have verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, packaging needs and adjustments.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance.
• Recognize, report and hold non-conforming or inferior product including proper slicing.
• Set up packers for all products.
• Change packaging film, colored bands, and Thermal ribbons.
• Pull broken trays and/or foreign matter from line; run tray washer.
• Adhere to GMPs, Personal Safety, Food Safety, HACCP, and SQF Rules; Baldinger Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as needed.
