C. H. Guenther & Son, Inc. is hiring a Production Helper for 2nd shift at Baldinger Bakeries in Saint Paul, MN. The role covers set-up and operation of all packaging equipment and quality control of shipped products.

Responsibilities include monitoring the packaging line, reporting issues, changing film and ribbons, performing sanitation, and driving a forklift. Schedule is 1:00pm–9:30pm; strong benefits and a union position available.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Basic math and computation skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor packaging line for maintenance, sanitation, packaging needs and deviations; make adjustments as necessary
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance
• Set up packers for all products and change packaging film, bands, and thermal ribbons
• Pull broken trays and foreign matter from line; operate tray washer
• Adhere to GMPs, personal and food safety, HACCP and SQF rules
