Mill Rock Packaging Inc in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a General Labor I for the Finishing Department. You will pack glued folding cartons into corrugated cases according to specifications, ensuring quality and production standards are met.

The role requires standing up to 10 hours, lifting up to 25 lbs, and adherence to safety protocols. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) contributions, disability options, life insurance, and more.

Competenze

• Language: read and comprehend instructions in English and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Math: perform basic arithmetic, rates, ratios and percentages.
• Reasoning: apply common sense and follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Computer: basic skills to read work instructions, record data, and email.

Mansioni

• Erect and label corrugated cases; identify die position and pallet numbers.
• Sort, housekeeping, flat packing; report quality problems to QA/Manufacturing managers.
• Inspect cartons during feeding/packing to ensure customer specifications.
• Label cases, stack sealed cases on pallets, remove wastepaper, and handle materials.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and follow safety standards.
• Participate in in-house quality assurance and safety training programs.
• Conform to established safe work practices and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
