Job summary

Bell's and New Belgium is seeking a night-shift operator to run and maintain high-speed packaging lines, with hours 6pm to 6am. The role offers a starting wage of $22.50 per hour plus a $6.00 shift differential for night hours.

You will perform startup, operation, troubleshooting, quality checks, forklift loading, training of new staff, and adherence to SOPs, with benefits after one month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean work environment.

Job description

The position is responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed packaging lines.

This will be a night shift position with the working hours of 6pm-6am. There is an additional $6.00 shift differential attached to the base wage between the hours of 6pm-6am.

Essential Duties:

• Conducts machine start-up, operation, and shutdown relevant to equipment area
• Conducts initial troubleshooting of equipment and production issues and makes appropriate adjustment as needed
• Engages in quality assurance activities (corrective action, sensory evaluation, sampling, testing, etc.)
• Loads/unloads material and finished product, including driving fork lifts
• Ensures clean work environment
• Adheres to SOG's (Standard Operating Guidelines) and checklists
• Trains new personnel and other team members when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills:

• Previous experience with high-speed production equipment desired
• Solid mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read reports, instructions, and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. overhead and 44
• lbs. carried 10 feet.
• Ability to push/pull weights up to 76 lbs. across 100 feet, and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including cases and empty kegs (31.5 lbs.).
