Packaging Line Operator I — Evening Shift

Job summary

Par Health is seeking a Packaging Line Operator to tend machines and conveyors on the packaging line and ensure efficient, continuous packaging of the product for shipment.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED and offers a 5:00pm–5:15am shift with a base rate of $22.80 per hour plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential. Prior packaging experience is preferred for Operator I/II levels.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to apply basic arithmetic and read simple instructions.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience on a packaging line is described as recommended for Operator I/II levels.

Responsibilities

• Set up assigned station on the line and assemble basic equipment and materials.
• Tend/operate the station during production and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Weigh products at various stages and perform required checks/tests.
• Adjust containers/materials for proper placement and remove defective pieces.
• Start and stop equipment as needed and perform hand-packaging tasks.
• Handle hazardous waste according to SOPs and maintain clean work area.
