Job summary

International Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic / Equipment Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve packaging equipment that keeps our production moving. Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving are essential. The job is full-time on-site in Minneapolis, MN with 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and occasional overtime.

Salary ranges from $27.00 to $40.00 per hour, DOE. We welcome candidates from backgrounds like snowmobiles, ATVs, cars, or other mechanical

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience repairing mechanical equipment, vehicles, engines, or machinery.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts.
• Willingness and ability to learn unfamiliar equipment.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work your scheduled shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines when not working correctly.
• Repair or replace bearings, belts, motors, sensors, and other components.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running.
• Support production teams to reduce downtime.
