Job summary

PPC-Flex in Kansas City, KS is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, read blueprints and manuals, and support GMP and food-safety programs.

This full-time role on a 12-hour rotating shift (2-2-3) offers competitive hourly pay between $25 and $35, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and use of measuring tools.
• Detail-oriented with documentation accuracy.
• Good communication and team mindset.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues with urgency.
• Ensure repairs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, time, and materials.
• Maintain and inspect tools at shift start and end.
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.
• Support GMP, food safety, and quality programs.
• Keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in other departments or tasks as needed.
