Job summary

PPC Flex is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably in our Kansas City facility.

You’ll perform PMs and repairs, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and use CMMS to track work orders, materials, and time while maintaining GMP and safety standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are willing to travel occasionally, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use measuring tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Strong communication skills and team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system issues with urgency and accuracy.
• Ensure repairs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize CMMS to track work orders, time, and materials.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment at shift start and end.
• Communicate effectively with team members across shifts.
• Support food safety, GMP, and quality programs.
• Keep equipment clean and in optimal working condition.
• Contribute ideas and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in other departments or tasks as needed.
