The Simplot Company is seeking a Packaging Maintenance Mechanic for the Moses Lake Production Campus. The role focuses on preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance of packaging equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities include repair, troubleshooting, and coordinating with the team to optimize equipment performance. Requires 3+ years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED; on-site work in Moses Lake, WA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3+ years related experience or training.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics; electrical repair in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings; write repair reports.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, overhauls, and troubleshooting packaging equipment: belts, sprockets, bearings, chains, motors.
• Evaluate equipment performance and adjust/replace parts to ensure packaging continuity.
• Assist maintenance of packaging equipment: baggers, scales, case erectors.
• Perform routine and non-routine preventive maintenance per plan.
• Ensure proper start-up and shutdown of packaging equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
