Job summary

Y-12 National Security Complex is seeking a Packaging Engineering Supervisor in Oak Ridge, TN. The role provides first-level management, technical direction for PTE engineers, and supervision of safety programs for hazardous and radioactive material packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an ABET-accredited program in the United States or equivalent; minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• DOE O 426.2A requirements can be satisfied after employment; candidates may be redirected to training.

Responsibilities

• Lead Packaging and Transportation (PTE) engineers and staff, ensuring safe, cost-conscious delivery of projects.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and deliverables; coordinate with internal and external customers and DOE/NNSA interfaces.
