Job summary

SC Johnson is seeking an Associate Manager, Packaging Engineer at Mt. Pleasant to lead North America Home Fragrance packaging development. You’ll drive sustainability, regulatory alignment, and cost-saving initiatives while guiding technical teams.

You will collaborate across functions, shape future packaging strategies, and mentor other engineers. The role reports to the Manager R&D Air Care and is located on Sam’s Campus with weekly remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging or other relevant engineering discipline and a minimum of 6 years of product/packaging development experience, or master’s degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end packaging development for NACB Home Fragrance projects, including primary, secondary, and e-commerce packaging.
• Drive packaging sustainability priorities and support the long-term strategy.
• Serve as a technical partner on sustainability and regulatory topics.
• Explore emerging packaging technologies and capabilities for future applications.
• Develop packaging solutions meeting internal and external needs.
