Diageo is seeking a Packaging Engineer Manager in Plainfield, IL to lead the technical development and commercialization of packaging for strategic innovations and renovations. You will ensure robust, manufacturable, scalable solutions and guide a team of Packaging Engineers through the commercialization lifecycle.

You will partner with Commercialization, R&D, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing and suppliers to address packaging challenges, drive governance, and improve speed to market with

Qualificações

• 5+ years packaging development, packaging engineering or technical commercialization in a CPG, beverage, food, pharmaceutical or related manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex packaging development and commercialization projects from concept through production.
• Strong technical understanding of packaging materials, component development, manufacturing processes, testing methodologies and qualification requirements.
• Experience translating consumer, brand and business requirements into technically feasible and scalable packaging solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead packaging technical delivery for strategic and complex projects from concept through commercialization and post-launch.
• Provide technical leadership in development, qualification and commercialization of packaging components.
• Coach and develop early-career Packaging Engineers and build their capabilities.
• Partner with Commercialization, Innovation/R&D, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Brand and suppliers to resolve packaging challenges.
