Bosch Charleston is seeking a Spring Logistics / Packaging Engineering Co-op to apply classroom knowledge to real-world production challenges and to impact the efficiency, quality, and sustainability of inbound and outbound packaged products.

You will work with the Logistics Design team on production line optimization, material evaluation, and process improvement, while collaborating with operations, maintenance, quality, and R&D.

Qualifikationen

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Strong enthusiasm for working within a manufacturing environment and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
• Basic understanding of packaging materials
• Ability to observe, analyze, and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CAD software is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams on the plant floor

Aufgaben

• Production Line Optimization & Support: Actively participate in troubleshooting packaging-related issues during production
• Material Evaluation & Application: Assist in the practical evaluation of new packaging materials and components for their suitability and performance on existing manufacturing equipment
• Process Improvement & Waste Reduction: Identify and propose practical solutions to reduce packaging material waste, scrap, and rework on the production floor
• Technical Documentation & Standards: Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating packaging specifications
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with production operators, maintenance technicians, quality control, supply chain, and R&D teams to implement packaging solutions.
