Job summary

AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co‑Op, a paid six‑month program, is based at the North Chicago campus. You will work on packaging development, testing, and material specifications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams three days a week per policy.

Responsibilities include test protocols, data mining for standardization, and opportunities to contribute to sustainability improvements while performing experiments in lab and manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Packaging or related field.
• Must be returning to university the semester following your Co‑Op.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.

Responsibilities

• Packaging development and testing for new projects.
• Test protocol and test execution.
• Material identification, selection, and specifications.
• Data mining for standardization opportunities.
• Sustainability and packaging improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and perform independent and team experiments in laboratory and manufacturing plants.
