AbbVie is seeking a Packaging Engineering Co-Op for a paid, six-month program based at our North Chicago campus, with opportunities to work on various packaging formats. The role involves development, testing, material selection, data analysis, and sustainability initiatives, engaging in hands-on lab and manufacturing projects.

Participants will have housing and shuttle services if eligible, and are expected to be on-site at least three days per week per company policy.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university pursuing a Bachelor’s in Packaging or related field.
• Must be returning to university the semester following your Co-Op.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 - June 2029.

Job Description

As an AbbVie Packaging Engineering Co-Op, you’ll participate in a paid, six-month program working on meaningful assignments that have a real impact on our business and patients worldwide. AbbVie’s Global Packaging organization offers you an opportunity to work in a variety of packaging formats and materials.

Throughout the duration, there will be developmental and networking activities, along with housing and shuttle services for eligible students. Co-op’s will be expected to work from our North Chicago campus headquartered in north suburban Chicago, at least three days per week, in accordance with company policy.
