Target is hiring a Packaging Engineer in Minnesota to lead the development of packaging for our owned brands and partnerships. You will work with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver consumer-centric packaging that aligns with brand vision, sustainability goals, and cost targets.

You will manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Strong CAD skills and experience with packaging materials are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Four-year packaging engineering degree is required.
• 3–7 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload across multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging design and development for owned brand products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet requirements.
• Drive sustainability, cost savings, and on-time delivery of packaging solutions.
• Ensure packaging specifications are accurate and meet deadlines.
• Prototype and develop new structural packaging concepts.
