Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests and meet deadlines.
• Motivation to learn new skills with a passion for engineering and design.
• Ability to work independently and strategically in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Artios CAD and ESKO products; PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in project management, Scrum or Sprint methodologies required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure primary packaging protects, contains and displays products from idea to final use for assigned categories.
• Support business commitments through item-level specifications.
• Participate in prototyping and development of Target packaging structural concepts.
• Work with internal and external partners to define packaging requirements and solutions.
• Serve as a structural packaging expert under supervision of a Lead or Senior Packaging Engineer.
• Review vendor structure options and component capabilities.
• Design solutions delivering cost savings and sustainability.
• Develop and refine structural specifications for packaging.
• Approve supplier projects in a timely manner.
• Contribute to market research and guest testing for packaging.
• Analyze data and make appropriate recommendations.
