Job summary

Lippert is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead packaging development for RV and marine products in Wisconsin. You will plan, design, test, and implement packaging concepts, ensuring compliance and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of packaging experience, with CAD skills (Inventor/SolidWorks) and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Local travel to suppliers may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
At least 1 year of packaging or related field experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD software certification; ability to maintain data library with photos; experience with Inventor or SolidWorks.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to build effective internal/external stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage packaging development and improvement projects for New Product Development and Legacy Aftermarket products.
Support investigations of production issues and drive packaging improvements.
Keep up-to-date with packaging innovations and share best practices across the company.
Coordinate with suppliers and evaluate packaging designs for cost, weight, and performance.
Document ISTA testing results and packaging weight/dimensions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
