Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design and develop packaging for consumer retail goods. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering and Marketing to meet product and merchandising needs.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and ArtiosCAD is preferred. You will coordinate testing plans, manage multiple projects, and support cost reduction initiatives while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering required.
• 3+ years related experience in packaging development for consumer retail goods.
• Knowledge of packaging materials: corrugated fiberboard, paperboard, plastics, films, labels, adhesives, sealing technologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods: paperboard, corrugated, thermoforming, injection molding, lithography, flexography, digital printing.
• SolidWorks and Artios CAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging by collaborating with domestic and global Engineering and Marketing teams.
• Coordinate testing plans to validate new packaging.
• Manage multiple projects with timelines; provide technical guidance to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality.
