You will lead packaging strategies, establish KPIs for part damage reduction, and collaborate with product development, operations, procurement, and manufacturing to design scalable, low-impact packaging for new car lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of packaging strategies aligned with business objectives
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to part damage improvement through new packaging and handling solutions
• Deploy a packaging and handling strategy for the business, that can be rolled out across all areas of the business, including external supply base
• Work closely with the product development teams to design packaging solutions for new products and car line
• Facilitate value stream mapping for packaging, process standardization, and best-practice deployment across multiple sites or business units
• Partner with supply chains, warehouse and production teams to improve material protection, minimal touch of materials to preserve the quality of the parts
• Optimize end-to-end packaging flow through the supply base, manufacturing, warehousing, and production delivery
