Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Software Packaging Engineer in Vienna, VA (Partial Remote) to drive an enterprise packaging modernization program. You will package, test, deploy, and validate applications using Liquidware FlexApp, perform compatibility checks, and troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues in a large enterprise environment.

The role requires hands-on packaging experience, MECM/SCCM proficiency, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Packaging Engineering experience in large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with Liquidware FlexApp.
• Experience packaging, repackaging, and deploying Windows applications.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM and deployment technologies.
• Experience with software lifecycle management and change processes.
• Familiarity with Windows 10/11 enterprise desktops and environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Package, repackage, test, and deploy enterprise apps with Liquidware FlexApp.
• Analyze applications, test compatibility, and validate deployments.
• Troubleshoot packaging, deployment, and performance issues.
• Document requirements, installation steps, and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and endpoint teams to drive platform adoption.
• Support rollout of Liquidware FlexApp enterprise-wide.
• Migrate packages to new delivery framework and perform QC.
• Manage deployment and retirement activities with stakeholder communication.
