Job summary

System One in Vienna, VA is seeking a Software Packaging Engineer on a 6 month+ contract, with hybrid work requiring 3 days on site in Vienna. The role focuses on modernizing software delivery using FlexApp layering and MECM deployment. You will package, test, and deploy enterprise apps, troubleshoot installations, and collaborate with EUC, engineering, security, and operations teams to improve delivery and support both VDI and physical Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Packaging Engineering experience.
• Experience packaging enterprise software in Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of MSI packaging, application repackaging, and deployment technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and application automation.
• Experience troubleshooting application installation and compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management and software delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
