Job summary

System One in Vienna, VA is seeking a Software Packaging Engineer for a 6 month+ contract. This hybrid role requires three days onsite weekly and focuses on modernizing packaging and delivery of enterprise applications.

You will assess, package, test, and deploy our portfolio using Liquidware FlexApp, working with EUC, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve delivery, reduce complexity, and support both VDI and physical Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Software Packaging Engineering experience.
• Experience packaging enterprise software in Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of MSI packaging, repackaging, and deployment technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and application automation.
• Experience troubleshooting application installation and compatibility issues.
• Familiarity with application lifecycle management and software delivery processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple technical teams.
