Job summary

Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a Principal Engineer, Packaging – Technical Services to lead packaging development, registrations, site transfers, and lifecycle support for generic, specialty, and branded products.

You will mentor the Technical Services team, drive risk-mitigation, ensure cGMP compliance, and partner with R&D, Operations, and external vendors to deliver compliant packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with extensive pharma packaging knowledge and tech transfer experience.
• Experience in regulatory and lifecycle management for packaging.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging development, registration, site transfers, and lifecycle transfer.
• Provide subject-matter expertise and mentor Technical Services staff.
• Interact with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver packaging solutions.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, DEA, OSHA and related guidelines.
• Support regulatory submissions and responses to authorities.
