Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a Packaging Engineer to design and develop packaging materials, solutions and processes that meet product and marketing requirements, customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.

The role includes approvals and improvements of supplier and customer packaging, driving cost, quality and density improvements, and standardization across packaging materials. This position is on-site and full-time at our U.S. location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical discipline required.
• Good communication skills: verbal, written and presentations.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; sponsorship not offered.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop packaging materials, solutions and processes to meet product and marketing requirements, customer needs and manufacturing capabilities.
• Responsible for approvals and improvements of supplier packaging during SCR.
• Responsible for approvals and improvements of customer packaging during NPL.
• Drive continuous improvement on packaging designs (cost, quality, density, stackability) and standardization on customer & supplier sides.
• Standardize sizes & variants of all packaging materials (cardboard, totes, pallets, etc.).
• Plan total cost of packaging material (budget planning).
• Act as key contact for packaging topics for plant NBT.
• Supplier management of packaging suppliers.
