Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Palmdale, CA, is seeking an Associate Engineer Packaging or Engineer Packaging to develop and maintain innovative packaging solutions for programs across the sector. Responsibilities include designing packaging, leading design reviews, and creating BOEs to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals.

The role requires a STEM degree, CAD experience (CATIA/NX), supplier coordination, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Experience with CAD (CATIA/NX) and 3D/2D design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
• Experience with suppliers and government customers.

Responsibilities

• Design packaging and material handling solutions for safe storage, movement, and transport.
• Participate in program/homeroom meetings with internal/external representatives regarding risks and design reviews.
• Create Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in support of Program proposals aligned with PHS&T goals.
