Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Industrial Maintenance certificate/degree preferred.
• At least 2 years as Industrial Maintenance Supervisor or Packaging Equipment Supervisor.
• Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and robotics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a unionized manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Instructs personnel in the proper performance of their duties as required.
• Oversees maintenance and repairs of Lambert and Fanuc Robotic Palletizers and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair packaging machine problems with speed and accuracy.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, schematics, and manuals.
• Responsible for updating blueprints, schematics and drawings.
• Determines materials and supplies needed to support maintenance.
• Overhauls basic machine elements such as glue pumps, gear reducers, clutches/brake assemblies.
• Performs/oversees safety procedures and ensures compliance.
