Job summary

Ergodyne is seeking a Packaging Developer to lead packaging development from concept through production readiness within the company’s phase-gate process. You will translate requirements into time-bound development plans, develop dielines and specs, and manage technical development with factory partners while collaborating on content, layout, samples, and revisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, or related technical discipline.
• 3-5+ years packaging development experience.
• Familiarity with packaging manufacturing methods, materials, and standards.
• Familiarity with phase gate product development processes and timeline management.
• Proficient with ArtiosCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging development projects from concept through production readiness.
• Design packaging structures, dielines, specifications, and collaborate on layout.
• Coordinate prototypes, samples, reviews, and revisions with suppliers.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sourcing and Compliance.
• Resolve technical challenges with domestic and international suppliers.
• Maintain packaging documentation, evaluations, revisions, and approvals.
• Improve packaging for manufacturability, performance, quality, cost.
• Lead discussions with suppliers to clarify requirements and drive execution.
• Travel domestically and internationally to evaluate capabilities and readiness.
