Job summary

Twelve Inc. designs and builds high-impact packaging for leading brands, combining sustainability with bold aesthetics.

The Packaging Designer will work with cross-functional teams to create retail-ready packaging, refine concepts, and develop mockups and renderings under senior guidance. You will apply brand guidelines across seasonal collections, research trends and materials, and help advance production techniques while leveraging AI to improve efficiency without sacrificing originality.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of design experience in-house or agency preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Experience combining typography, imagery, color and layout to create impactful designs.
• Experience or interest in illustration or 3D rendering software is a plus.
• Experience preparing print-ready files, dielines, templates, tech packs, and post-production artwork.
• Ability to communicate ideas visually through sketches, comps, or simple renderings.

Responsibilities

• Create retail-ready packaging design and execution.
• Design execution across packaging collections, including layouts, graphics, and visual refinements.
• Research packaging trends, materials, and sustainability initiatives to inform concepts.
• Create mockups, comps, and basic renderings to visualize ideas.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas within a collaborative team.
• Learn and apply brand guidelines to ensure consistency across seasonal and evergreen packaging collections.
• Help maintain organized working files, ensuring assets, links, and versions are labeled and easy to locate.
• Develop packaging concepts considering brand tone, market trends, and price points.
• Support exploration of new packaging materials, structures, and production techniques under senior guidance.
• Incorporate feedback from senior designers, developers, and stakeholders.
