Job summary

EnVogue International in New York designs and manufactures premium home décor packaging. We are seeking a Packaging Designer – Soft Home to develop fresh packaging concepts across bedding, bath, and window categories, collaborating with Product Development, Design, Sales, Sourcing, and overseas factories.

This role is ideal for a creative, trend-driven designer who understands how packaging, branding, product presentation, and merchandising come together within the soft home market.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of packaging or graphic design experience, preferably within home textiles, consumer products, fashion, or retail.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging concept development, branding, and production-ready design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong understanding of packaging layouts, dielines, typography, color, materials, and print production.
  • Creative and trend-aware with a strong eye for branding, product presentation, and retail merchandising.
  • Experience developing packaging from initial concept through final production.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop fresh, trend-right packaging concepts for bedding, towels, curtains, and other soft home categories.
  • Partner with Product Development to create packaging for new products, programs, materials, and seasonal launches.
  • Explore new packaging formats, structures, materials, graphics, and presentation ideas to drive newness and retail appeal.
  • Design belly bands, inserts, labels, hangtags, header cards, wraps, cartons, bags, and other packaging formats.
  • Translate product features, materials, dimensions, and selling points into clear and compelling packaging.
  • Create artwork, layouts, dielines, mockups, renderings, and presentations for internal reviews and buyer meetings.
  • Develop packaging tailored to retailer positioning, price points, consumer demographics, and merchandising strategies.
  • Maintain brand consistency across owned brands and licensed properties.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and overseas factories from initial concept through final production.
  • Prepare production-ready artwork and review proofs, samples, color, materials, finishes, and print details.
  • Stay current on packaging, branding, soft home, consumer, and retail trends.
  • Manage multiple packaging projects, revisions, and development timelines in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Packaging Designer – Soft Home, you will develop fresh and innovative packaging concepts across bedding, bath, window, and other home textile categories.
