Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of packaging engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, glass, metals).
• Proficiency in CAD software for packaging design and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test packaging solutions for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and marketing to define packaging requirements and specs.
• Optimize packaging designs for cost, manufacturability, sustainability, and supply chain efficiency.
• Conduct material selection, vendor qualification, and performance testing of packaging components.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications, bills of materials, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues and implement corrective actions in manufacturing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality requirements for packaging.
