Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging & Crating Technician to oversee receiving, storage, and preparation of items for shipment. The role requires strong organization, safety focus, and comfort with tools in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will build crates, read blueprints, document finished products, operate forklifts, and drive a 26 ft box truck when needed. A high school diploma and forklift experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift experience is required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use hand/power tools.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) expected.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and prepare finished panels and components for shipment.
• Build crates, skids, and packaging to protect equipment during transport.
• Read blueprints and follow packaging specifications.
• Photograph and document finished products prior to shipment.
• Load/unload materials using forklifts and other equipment.
• Operate panel saws, nailers, staplers, and hand tools.
• Maintain inventory of packaging and shipping supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and keep workspace clean and organized.
• Drive company box truck (26 ft) for deliveries when required.
